The Wayne and Joan Webber Splash Park is located in the beautiful Brandenburg Park Clinton Township, Michigan Strong families and business for a better community

Clinton Township with more than 100,000 residents is the most populous township in the state of Michigan and the sixth largest community in the Detroit tri-county area. The township is proud of its balanced approach to residential and commercial development and its increasing reputation as “A Community of Parks and Blue Water Economy Activities.” Clinton Township offers residents more than 300 acres of open spaces in 11 parks including the Tomlinson Arboretum and George George Memorial Park. The 34-acre arboretum adjacent to the township’s Civic Center recently received the Keep Michigan Beautiful Award while George George Park is now a regional attraction with playscapes, a picnic gazebo, fountains and walking trails. An expanding network of safety paths, sidewalks and trails helps foster fitness opportunities and a sense of community in Clinton Township. The township has also joined the Blue Water Economy with the installation of a new kayak and canoe launch in the 46-acre Budd Park along the Clinton River. The public launch will also feature a concessionaire that will arrange for kayaking from the park to downtown Mount Clemens. Clinton Township believes strongly in a business-friendly approach to sustaining economic growth. For example, the Clinton Township Gratiot Downtown Development Authority continues to promote the business community along the M-3 corridor through such major infrastructure improvements as a new energy efficient LED-based lighting grid, attractive landscaping, road and sidewalk improvements and new signage. More than 70,000 vehicles travel the corridor daily. The township’s Economic Development Corporation (EDC) works with industrial and commercial customers to locate, purchase, construct and redevelop appropriate sites throughout the community. It also provides for property tax exemptions and tax abatements. The EDC and members of the Board of Trustees encourage cooperation with the community’s business partners in a broad initiative to improve business conditions across the township. Most recently Kuka Systems North America invested some $14.4 million and is creating 116 new jobs at its manufacturing facilities in Clinton Township to support its growing aerospace business. As a result, the company has been awarded a $900,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance grant along with a property tax abatement from Clinton Township. Thanks to the township’s EDC more than $48 million in new investment and the creation of 400 jobs were secured over the past 18 months, including 250 jobs and $16.5 million in investments by JVIS USA. LUNG CANCER SCREENING

PEACE OF MIND IS PRICELESS. Henry Ford was part of a groundbreaking national study that proved lung cancer screenings save lives. Currently, just 16 percent of people survive 5 years after being diagnosed. Together, we can dramatically improve survival rates – and deliver treatment options that get you back to living life to the fullest. Coverage varies by insurance plan and payer. Some plans require a physician referral for this screening. If your screening is not covered by insurance, you can get this life-saving test for just $99.

*To be eligible for the lung cancer screening, you must: • Be age 55 or older. • Currently smoke, or have quit less than 15 years ago. • Have smoked a pack a day for at least 30 years or equivalent packs in fewer years.

CHOOSE A LOCATION NEAR YOU: Clinton Township Shelby Township Sterling Heights

*If covered, your insurance provider may have specific requirements related to eligibility
