Newmarket Catchment Area List for 2022 2023 Newmarket Catchment Area List for the 2022/2023 school year only Your catchment area school may not be your nearest suitable school. School travel eligibility is based on a child attending their nearest suitable school that would have had a place available for them. This means that your child might not be eligible for Suffolk County Council funded school travel to your catchment area school. We strongly recommend that you check which school is your nearest suitable school on our Nearest School Checker because this might not be your catchment area school. You can find out which are your three nearest Suffolk schools (based on the statutory walking distance including Public Rights of Way) by putting your postcode into our nearestschool.suffolk.gov.uk. We update this each year to include new roads and developments. Suffolk County Council (SCC) Funded School Travel Please be aware: You must consider how your child will travel to and from school before you apply for a school place. Further information on how to apply for a school place can be found on the relevant page at www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissions. Full details about SCC funded school travel, including the School Travel Policy, additional arrangements for low income families and those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), can be found at www.suffolkonboard.com/schooltravel. Catchment area list The information given in this list should be used as a guide only and may change. It is correct at the time of publication (31/08/21). For up-to-date information about a particular address, please contact the Admissions Team on 0345 600 0981. It should not be taken to have any definitive administrative or legal significance. Note 1: This address no longer has a catchment area school as some voluntary aided, free schools and academies do not operate catchment areas to prioritise applications to the school. Please refer to the school's admissions policy for the relevant school year which is available online at www.suffolk.gov.uk/admissions or from the school. • King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored by QIPCO)
King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored by QIPCO) Ascot Racecourse Background Information for the 65th Running Saturday, July 25, 2015 Winners of the Investec Derby going on to the King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored by QIPCO) Unbeaten Golden Horn, whose victories this year include the Investec Derby and the Coral-Eclipse, will try to become the 14th Derby winner to go on to success in Ascot’s midsummer highlight, the Group One King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes (Sponsored by QIPCO), in the same year and the first since Galileo in 2001. Britain's premier all-aged 12-furlong contest, worth a boosted £1.215 million this year, takes place at 3.50pm on Saturday, July 25. Golden Horn extended his perfect record to five races on July 4 in the 10-furlong Group One Coral- Eclipse at Sandown Park, beating older opponents for the first time in great style. The three-year-old Cape Cross colt, owned by breeder Anthony Oppenheimer and trained by John Gosden in Newmarket, captured Britain's premier Classic, the Investec Derby, over 12 furlongs at Epsom Downs impressively on June 6 after being supplemented following a runaway Betfred Dante Stakes success at York in May.
