    Miss Rodeo Texas Pageant Requirements 1. Be age nineteen (19) by the first day of the State Pageant and not over twenty-five (25) by January 1 of the following year. 2. Be a legal resident of the state of Texas for a minimum of one (1) year and have a valid Texas driver’s license or identification card. 3. Have obtained a high school diploma or equivalent of high school education. 4. Be a student in good standing, if enrolled in college. 5. Not been married or nullified a marriage. 6. Not be, nor have been pregnant. 7. Not been charged or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor. 8. Not been a prior contestant at the Miss Rodeo America Pageant. 9. Not be a current state or national title holder of any other pageant (Ex. Miss Texas High School Rodeo, Miss Rodeo, etc…) ​ ​ 10. Have executed all consents, waivers and/or agreements presented as conditions precedent to competition. 11. Be representing a local pageant or local sponsor. (No commercial entries are allowed; example – Miss Rodeo Smith Western Wear. You can create a title from a local sponsor; example - Miss Rodeo Rockin R Ranch) 12. Abide by all rules and regulations of the Miss Rodeo Texas Pageant. 13. Have not been disqualified or had the title forfeited in the Miss Rodeo Texas Pageant. 14. All contestants are required to stay at the host hotel. The cost of contestant lodging is included in the entry fee. 15. All contestants will be assigned to a chaperone and must stay with the chaperone, unless otherwise notified.

    Patch and Badge Placement United States Flag This patch is one that you shouldn't have to sew on! Most uniforms come with the flag already attached to the right sleeve. Some previously used uniforms may have it taken off but additional ones can be purchased at the Scout Store. The Boy Scouts of America emblem over the right pocket is also attached to uniforms when purchased. World Crest This patch is worn by all Scouts and Leaders to signify membership of our program in the World Scouting Movement. This patch shows our brotherhood with millions of Scouts around the world. This patch is worn centered above the left pocket in the middle between the top of the pocket and the shoulder seam. Quality Unit Award This award is given units who have met a list of requirements. This award is worn on the right sleeve of the official uniform. The top of the award should be placed 4" below the top of the American flag . Only the Quality Unit Award for the current year may be worn on the uniform . Council Patch This patch is worn by all Scouts and Leaders to indicate the Council that represents their Pack. Each Council develops their own design although the shape and position on the uniform are the same. Our Council is the Occoneechee Council. This patch is worn on the left sleeve just below the shoulder seam. Unit Numerals This patch is worn by all Scouts and Leaders to signify membership in Pack 222. You will see two versions of this patch: a one-piece patch that can be special ordered or the Pack number can be made up of three individual numeral patches that are sewn on next to one another.

    Celebrating 150 years of the Nebraska State Fair with the “150th Fairabration”. Food Exhibits Foods exhibits are displayed along with other Competitive Exhibit departments in the Fonner Park Concourse which is adjacent to the east side of the Heartland Event Center. The closest entrance to foods is on the south end of the Concourse (north side of the Event Center). When bringing exhibits in after the fair begins, enter Gate 7 located on the north side of the fairgrounds off Fonner Park Road. Drive between the midway and racetrack to get to the entrance on the north end of the Fonner Park Concourse. A cart will be available to transport your exhibits to the Foods Department. After exhibits are entered, exit through Gate 7. If you wish to remain at the fair you will need to re-enter through the main gate off South Locust. The most efficient way to enter your exhibits is online. Instructions on how to enter online are found on the web site, www.statefair.org. For directions on entering by mail or in-person go to the entry information section in this book. Need further help?
