FACTS: • Yancy writes and produces the music and videos for Standard Publishing’s Vacation Bible School curriculum. Over 1,000,000 kids are reached each year. (2012-2015) This VBS also features author and missionary Beth Guckenberger of Back2Back Ministries. • Yancy’s music is used in churches around the globe including these churches she’s also performed at: Hillsong Church (Sydney), Lakewood Church (Houston), Prestonwood Baptist (Dallas) and Northpoint Community Church (Atlanta). • KidzMatter Magazine features a column about kids worship in each issue written by Yancy. • She has shared the stage with Michael W. Smith, Newsboys, Mute Math, Nichole Nordeman, Plumb and many more. • Yancy has been featured on nearly every major Christian television program in the USA including Daystar’s “Celebration,” “The Harvest Show,” “Atlanta Live,” “Niteline,” “The Good Life,” “Bay Focus,” “Live from Studio B,” multiple shows for JCTV and more! • Yancy wrote the #1 song, "I Don't Want To Go" for Avalon’s Grammy and Dove nominated Oxygen record. Also featured on their two greatest hits albums and WOW Hits 2003. The song won an ASCAP award. • Yancy wrote “Something Beautiful” recorded by Jaci Velasquez • Yancy has written and recorded with Third Day’s Mac Powell. • Yancy grew up a PK. Her father, Jim Wideman, is a leader, innovator and “grandfather” of children’s ministry. • Yancy got her start leading worship and writing songs for kids at Church on the Move in Tulsa, OK. • Yancy and her father created “Kings & Princesses” - a father/daughter event for churches.
