This year marks the 25th year that this accolade has been presented, which has been selected by the WBCA since 1983. "Gail Goestenkors has earned her keep amongst such a wonderful group of coaches at the NCAA Division I level," said WBCA CEO Beth Bass. "I would like to congratulate Gail for being named the 2007 Russell Athletic/WBCA National NCAA Division I Coach of the Year."
