REACHING DOUBLE-DIGIT WINS TOP OF THE CLASS Last season, the Ivy League had seven teams with 10 or more victories for just the Harvard welcomes seven freshmen to its roster this season. EDOSOMWAN NAMED TO KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR AWARD WATCH LIST Senior Zena Edosomwan of the Harvard men’s basketball team has been selected to the watch list for the 2017 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year Award.

One of 20 selections in all of college basketball, Edosomwan earned All-Ivy League second team honors a year ago. The lone Ivy League selection, Edosomwan turned in 12 double-doubles during the 2015-16 season, matching Keith Wright’s ‘12 total from 2010-11 for the most double-doubles in a season under Tommy Amaker, The Thomas G. Stemberg ‘71 Family Endowed Coach for Harvard Men’s Basketball.

CIT CHAMPIONS Last year, Columbia became just the second Ivy League team to win a postseason tournament and the first since Princeton won the NIT in 1975. The Lions established program records for wins (25), non-conference wins (15) and home victories (18). Columbia’s ten Ivy League victories were the most for the Lions since 1993.
