AsVKAAO, India’s first ever ‘theatre-on-demand’ service along with Shemaroo ShowTime – a brand that re- releases/screens iconic movies of bollywood in theatres, re-releasedthe ‘Amitabh Bachchan’ starrer cult classic Namak Halaal. Nostalgic fans got a rare opportunity to watch the much-loved comedyfilm on the big screenonce again and revisit some of the most memorable dialogues and songs of all time. The film, re-releasedon May 21 drew fans in crowds to PVR theatres across Delhi and Mumbai.The audience thoroughly enjoyed the show. The sound of whistles and claps of the enthusiastic audience could be heard through out the screening. Prompted by this exceptional response,the companies haveannounced additional screenings of the film in Lucknow, Nagpur and Hyderabad from June 7 onwards.
