Licence number AL50684A JOHN ALISON VILLAGES IN THE LANDSCAPE The emerging design is based on creating a collection of villages in a landscaped setting. These will be linked by open space and a series of paths and roads. The aim is to create a series of paths (using existing Rights of Way and new paths) to connect homes to the open space, central facilities and, subject to land availability, a spine route to the parkway station, to maximise opportunities for sustainable travel. Significant new tree planting is anticipated to create the “villages in the landscape” appearance. The use of the slightly higher land for some of the residential
