Ersin ACAR İNAM Completing her bachelor’s degree in Department of Architecture of University in 1999, Ersin Acar İnam achieved her master’s degree in Faculty of Architecture of in 2003 and had her doctoral degree in Faculty of Architecture of Yıldız Technical University in 2009. Between 2003 and 2006, she worked as a research assistant in Department of Architecture in Dicle University. She has been working as an architect in Provincial Bank since 2006.

Nezih AYIRAN He is an architect and academician. Graduated from the Department of Architecture of the State Academy of Fine Arts in İstanbul (currently known Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University) as a Diploma Architect. He has worked in the design oriented several architectural offices both in and U.K. He received Ph.D. from İstanbul Technical University in 1983. N. Ayıran started working as a faculty member in the Division of Architectural Design of İ.T.Ü. Faculty of Architecture in 1977, and worked there until his retirement in 2012. Presently, he is working as a faculty member in the Architectural Department of Faculty of Fine Arts, Cyprus International University.

Aslı ÇEKMI Ş GÖRGÜLÜ She was born in Istanbul and studied at the Department of Architecture, ITU graduating in 2006. Since then she has been research and teaching assistant at ITU and attends design courses and some related theory lectures. She is interested in the topics; city, architecture and space within the conceptual frame of utopian and visionary design.

Sıdıka ÇET İN She graduated from Dokuz Eylül University Faculty of Architecture (1994), completed her Master of Architecture at Selçuk University (2000) and her PhD in Architecture at Dokuz Eylül University (2004). She currently works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architecture within the Faculty of Architecture in Suleyman Demirel University, where she teaches in the architectural design studios, and gives interior design and building science courses.

Deniz ERINSEL ÖNDER was born in 1963 in Istanbul. She graduated from Yildiz Technical University Department of Architecture in 1986. She got doctorate degree in 1996 at YTU Institute of Science and Technology. She has worked at Yildiz Technical University Department of Architecture since 1987. Her research areas are: Social Housing, Earthquake houses, Tourism-Tourism Buildings, Space syntax.

Ervin GAR İP Dr. Ervin Garip is an architect and an assistant professor at the Istanbul Kultur University Department of Interior Architecture. He holds a PhD degree in “Architectural Design” from the Faculty of Architecture, Istanbul Technical University. He worked as a visiting scholar at NC State University in 2009. His academic works major on the fields of “environmental psychology”, “space syntax”, “visual preference in architecture”, “urban design”, and “architectural design”.

Emine GÖRGÜL Emine Gorgul is an architect and TA in Technical University of Istanbul (ITU). She teaches architecture and interior architecture studios at under-graduate and graduate levels since 2005. She experiments alternative ways of teaching design and creativity. She is also an active member of commission of ITU School of Architecture and Department of Interior Architecture, responsible of strategies and curriculum development. She received her Bachelors Degree (1999) and her Master’s Degree (2002) from ITU, and studies on her Ph.D. degree on a topic about ‘Space as a Becoming’. She was a visiting scholar in TU Delft, a visiting teacher at Architectural Association- London (VTP) and invited studio critique in Hong Kong University.

Işıl HACIHASANO ĞLU Graduated from METU (B.Arch), ITU (M. Arch and PhD in Architectural Design), She is a Professor of Architecture in ITU Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture. She teaches architectural design; architecture and utopia courses. She had articles, papers and books on catering design, universal design, housing design, assessment for disabled and aged, architectural education.

Yegan KAHYA She has graduated from Istanbul Technical University (ITU) in 1982. Received her M Arch in 1984 and Ph.D. degree in 1992 in Architecture from ITU. In 1992-93, she did postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Architecture, TU Muenchen. She is an Associate Professor at ITU Department of Architecture teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs on Theory of Conservation, Architectural Survey and Documentation and Architectural Conservation Studio. She has served as a Thesis Advisor in the Graduate Program several times. She is the current President of ICOMOS Turkey, and the member of KORDER, MIMED and DOCOMOMO.

Massimo RICCI Massimo Ricci is graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Florence in 1971 and until 1979 he has been a professor at the Departments of Architectural Design and Technology of Architecture. He has worked in the field of Architectural Conservation for over 40 years. His research about the construction method of the Dome of Brunelleschi is noticed at the international level. He is an expert of UNESCO World Heritage Convention. His main research areas are Renaissance construction techniques and contemporary conservation methods.
