Light moderate heavy In the coming 3 days light rainfall is expected over For the coming 72 Hrs , almost the entire while moderate rains are Heavy to moderate rainfall expected over parts of and Greater Bahr is expected over Greater Al-Ghazal, Unity and Jonglie. Kordofan, Whie and Upper Nile state , Cumulative rainfall for the next 6 days end on 28 August indicate that, moderate rains are expected over Greater Kordofan, Greater Darfur, , East Equatoria. Heavy rains are forecasted over West Darfur, Blue Nile as well as part of and Upper Nile . Heavy rainfall is also predicted over the Ethiopian High lands.

Blue Nile at Diem:

Level of the Blue Nile at Diem for 22 August 2010 is 52 cm higher than the previous day and similar to the high risk level. Situation is still problematic along the Blue Nile Rive specifically in Blue Nile state, Sinnar, Gezera and Khartuom.

Blue Nile at : Level of the Blue Nile at Khartoum is slightly dropped to 16.83 m which is 7 cm lower than the yesterday's level and 23 cm higher than the high risk level. Urgent measures have to be taken to avert disastrous impacts in the above mentioned states, and to protect densely populated areas along the White Nile River in Khartoum state.
