Wink : Get a bowl or bag full of papers, this should have only enough for the amount of players, one should have an “X” or the word “Wink” on it and the rest should be plain. The person who gets the one that has writing on it, is the killer or slayer. Everyone should be in a circle and make eye contact with each other. If you get winked at you must count to five and then “die.” Don’t say anything about who it is just remove yourself from the group and watch as it plays out. If someone suspects someone they can say “suspect.” They must ask the other players if they suspect someone(you don’t have to suspect anyone). If others do, they count to five and point to the person they suspect. If they all point to the same person and they are correct than the game is over. If not the accusers are out. The game continues until they guess the correct killer or everyone gets killed.

Truth or Dare ball: Get a medium sized ball and cover it with truths and dares. Everyone sits in a circle and takes a turn catching the ball. Whatever your right thumb lands on is the truth or dare you have to do. Depending on how you want to play, you can decide if people can chicken out or not. Personally, I think a good punishment if someone chickens out is that they stand in the corner for three minutes with a blanket over their head and their nose on the wall.

Telephone: Everyone sits in a circle, either have the first person pick from premade phrases or sentences or they make up their own. Passing it through the circle until it gets to the last person. The last person then says what they heard out loud. See how different it is from the start to finish.

Baby, if you love me please, please smile: Everyone sits in a circle with one person in the center. The person in the center(person a) needs to go around to each person until they make the other person(person b) laugh. Whoever they make laugh it is their turn to try and make someone laugh. In reply to “Baby, if you love me will you please, please smile” person b must say without smiling or laughing, “Baby, I love you but I just won’t smile.” This game is both awkward and fun!

Off Limits: This game keeps everyone talking. Make one word off limits. As long as nobody says the forbidden word the game continues. Try to keep the game going all night.

Spud: Everyone has a number(1- the amount of players). Everyone stands in a line, except the person who has the ball. The one person who has the ball shouts a number and the person whose number was called runs up and tries to catch the ball. If they don’t they are out. If they catch it they switch places with the thrower. The game continues until no one is left. LJHS CIRCUIT RIDER November 2018 ~ Page 25

Top Five Domesticated Cats to Own

● 5 - Ragdoll Ragdoll cats are very fluffy, affectionate, and will go limp in your arms, hence the name “Ragdoll”. They are very fluffy and have the pattern of a Siamese Cat, though they don’t meow as much and are cheaper. ● 4 - American Shorthair A common pet, the American Shorthair lives in the homes of many. They are sometimes playful, mostly in their younger years. They are soft and lazy cats, ranging from a wide variety of personalities. ● 3 - Somali Cat The first noticeable thing about the Somali cats is that they have lots of fur. They are soft and lovable, much like the Ragdoll, but more playful. My relatives have a Somali named Mow, and he is very adorable. ● 2 - Maine Coon This is the biggest type of cat, being able to grow up to 4 feet long! They are essentially the size of a small lion, and they are perfect cuddle buddies. Unless you’re small, of course, because they might smother you. ● 1 - Toyger Ever wanted a small tiger right here in your home? Even if you said no, you’s probably change your mind when you see one! They’re smart, affectionate, child-friendly, stranger-friendly, low health issues… what more could you ask from a cat? Not only that, but they have been bred so that their fur looks reminiscent to that of a tiger! They are truly the best type of cat to own.
