2 Years of Excellence Lead, Care and Inspire August – November 2019 PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE 2 Years of Excellence Success “ is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success The world around us tends to revere material wealth and those who possess it, somemes ignoring talent, spirituality, honesty a n d s t e a d fastness. The true appreciaon of life is misleadingly considered to lie in the acquision and ulizaon of material wealth. This path oen distances people from sources of lasng happiness as they choose instead to spend me in the pursuit of wealth. These circumstances lead me to express my views on happiness and success. We must remind ourselves that happiness doesn't come as a result of geng something we don't have, but rather from recognizing and appreciang what we do have. The sasfacon gained from a task well done is enormously greater than an impression created by flaunng borrowed feathers. An honest commitment to yourself and your abilies, will definitely lead to eventual success which is less transient and more worthy of your abilies. We must leave our mark on every surface that we walk and connue in our dues indefagably, in the face of all odds. That could be a measure of our success. Learning to succeed is indeed a wonderful experience which we wish for each of our students, without excepon. However, is success only defined by academic results? Creang a posive environment around you, where ever you go, helping the old and the young, learning about yourself and knowing how to appreciate the beauty of the world around, can also be considered to be measures of success. These successes spread infinitely more comfort and happiness around while bringing great sasfacon to the individual. Each school newsleer marks a milestone on the path of educaon which ulmately results in success and happiness of its students. Let us redefine our happiness and success and reward ourselves with blissful contentment! As we move towards the end of the academic session, I hope that each student persists in the honest pursuit of learning which will result in greater happiness and success rather than gaining knowledge. I wish you all the best! Surender P.
