He advocated tirelessly for the right to keep and bear arms, outdoor recreation, hunting, and the shooting sports. On some of these issues, Representative Dill found himself at odds with members of his own caucus. Even in disagreement, he was widely respected for his contributions to the legislature and for the common sense of his views. Representative Dill is our first recipient of our annual Minuteman Award, recognizing the lifetime contributions of a Minnesotan in protecting and advancing the constitutional rights of gun owners in Minnesota.
