A nonprofit charitable organization providing a performing arts/multiuse facility. The centre provides a 450 seat theatre, a stage for performers and workshops and a galleria for small gatherings.

The PortageEx holds an annual fair in July on its grounds on “The Island.” There is a midway, 4H activities, domestic competitions and horse, beef and dairy cattle competitions.

A campground is located on the exhibition grounds. Amenities include 24 electric/water sites. Unserviced sites are also available.

Other Events: Portage Potato Festival (August), Day (February), National Aboriginal Day (June 21), National Family Week (Oct.), Concerts in the Park (Thursday Evenings in July & August).
