SONGBIRD cleared early and set the pace under a light hold, was confronted by I'M A CHATTERBOX and BEHOLDER after six and a half furlongs, emerged with BEHOLDER just to her outside soon into the lane, maintained a tenuous advantage battling past the furlong grounds, kept on valiantly and just missed. FOREVER UNBRIDLED raced under a snug hold off the early pace, edged up within herself leaving the far turn, came under a ride near the quarter pole, swung out to be about four wide in upper stretch, leaned in briefly brushing with I'M A CHATTERBOX, corrected nearing the eighth pole and continued on with good energy to bridge the gap. STELLAR WIND, a bit fidgety as the gates sprung, hopped in the air to be away last, dropped in early to settle, came off the inside for the backstretch run, gained slightly five wide into the far turn, was under heavy pressure trying to keep pace past the five sixteenths but failed to overcome her early adversity. I'M A CHATTERBOX rushed up between rivals to gain a stalking spot three wide, went after the leader under a ride nearing the five sixteenths, could not go on with the top pair entering the lane, brushed with FOREVER UNBRIDLED in upper stretch, stayed willingly to mid stretch then faded. CURALINA , between foes early, dropped to the rail for the backstretch run, came under a ride near the far turn, failed to respond and retreated. LAND OVER SEA saved ground, drafted back off the pace leaving the five eighths, was under solid coaxing around the far turn and gave way. CORONA DEL INCA (ARG) , off the pace and removed from the inside, dropped back nearing the far turn, broke down nearing the stretch and was vanned off.
