The targeted houses are owned by: Ismail Ibrahim Za’oul (55 years) and his two brothers; Hassan (50 years) and Mohammad (48 years). (RB2000 13 December 2015) Israeli Occupation Army (IOA) raided and searched a Palestinian house in Bethlehem city. (Al-Quds 15 December 2015) Clashes erupted between Palestinians and the Israeli Occupation Army (IOA) in Ad-Duheisha refugee camp, south of Bethlehem city. The IOA fired teargas grenades and rubber bullets at Palestinians. (Al-Quds 15 December 2015) Israeli Occupation Army (IOA) stormed and toured in areas in Tuqu village, southeast of Bethlehem city. (Al-Quds 15 December 2015) Israeli Occupation Army (IOA) invaded and searched dozens of Palestinian houses in Ad Duheisha refugee camp, south of Bethlehem city. Clashes erupted between Palestinians and the IOA, where the IOA fired metal bullets and teargas grenades, causing the injury of a Palestinian. During the operation, the IOA arrested four Palestinians and summoned others to interview the Israeli Intelligence Police. The arrestees were identified as: Yazan Al Ja’idi (18 years), Hamza Ma’rouf Al Atrash (24 years) and his brother Mohammad (22 years), and Amid Mohammad Shamroukh (22 years). Accordingly, the ratio of Palestinians who support military operations decreased from 53.3% in January 2009 to 37.1% in April 2011. With regards to the rockets fired from Gaza Strip towards Israel, the ratio of Palestinians who believe they are useful in achieving the national goals went down from 50.8% in January 2009 to 25.4% this month while the ratio of Palestinians who believe that these rockets harm the national interests went up from 20.8% in January 2009 to 38.6% this month. In a similar trend, the ratio of Palestinians who support bombing operations against Israeli civilian targets decreased from 55.4% in January 2009 to 37.3% this April.

    Weekly Report On Israeli Human Rights Violations in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (29 Oct. – 04 Nov. 2015) Thursday, 05 November 2015 00:00 Israeli forces continue systematic crimes in the occupied Palestinian territory (oPt) (29 October – 04 November 2015) Israeli forces have escalated the use of excessive force against peaceful protests in the oPt. 8 Palestinian civilians, including 2 children, were killed in the West Bank; one of whom was killed in occupied Jerusalem. 129 Palestinian civilians, including 25 children, were wounded in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Among the wounded were 3 journalists and 9 paramedics. A paramedic sustained shrapnel wounds and the others suffered tear gas inhalation. Israeli forces conducted 91 incursions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank, including 14 ones in Jerusalem. 119 Palestinian civilians, including 35 children and a woman, were arrested. 48 of them, including 14 children, were arrested in occupied Jerusalem. The offices of Menber al-Hurriya Radio and Adwar "Roles" for Social Change Association in Hebron were raided and their contents were confiscated. Israeli forces have continued their efforts to create Jewish majority in occupied East Jerusalem. A house in al-Mukaber Mountain and 3 apartments in a residential building in Beit Hanina neighbourhood were demolished. 10 families were notified to vacate their houses, southeast of Nablus, to be demolished as they are close to "Ahya" settlement. Israeli forces raided houses belonging to families of Palestinians who carried out run-over and stabbing attacks, and threatened to demolish them on grounds of collective punishment. Israeli settlers have escalated their attacks against Palestinian civilians and property and settlement activities have continued in the West Bank.

In 2013 there was a significant increase in the scope of violence and terrorism in Judea, Samaria and the Jerusalem area. According to data from the Israel Security Agency (ISA), in 2013 there were 1,271 terrorist attacks, as compared with 578 in 2012 (a year in which violence and terrorism also increased). 2. The two main trends of violence and terrorism were the following: a. The so-called "popular resistance" (which can be considered popular terrorism): The popular resistance is a leading strategy used by the Palestinian Authority (PA) and Fatah. In 2013 it accounted for 858 attacks (as compared with 535 in 2012). The popular resistance includes the use of Molotov cocktails (a frequent modus operandi), and stabbing and vehicular attacks. 021-14 2 In addition, every month there were hundreds of stone-throwing events targeting the Israeli security forces and/or Israeli civilians driving along the roads in Judea, Samaria and the Jerusalem area (including Israeli civilian buses). b. "Military attacks" (guns, explosives, abductions): In 2013 there were 201 military attacks involving the use of arms (as compared with 37 in 2012). Most of them (170 attacks) involved IEDs, and some of them involved shooting and throwing hand grenades. In addition, one Israeli soldier was abducted in Bat Yam, south of Tel Aviv, and murdered in Samaria by an illegal Palestinian resident from the region of Qalqiliya.
