DISNEYNOW INVITES FANS TO MAKE THEIR OWN DISNEY CHANNEL WAND ID LIKE GENERATIONS OF YOUNG STARS

Disney Channel is bringing the magic to fans everywhere with "Be A Disney Channel Star," a new activation exclusively in the DisneyNOW app that invites users to create their own iconic Disney Wand ID—the trademark video featuring stars air-drawing the Mickey Mouse ears using a magic wand. The Wand ID has long been a rite of passage for Disney Channel stars. Now fans will be able to create their very own ten second video to save to their camera roll and share with family and friends. "Be A Disney Channel Star" is available beginning FRIDAY, MAY 24, in the DisneyNOW app at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
To kick off the launch, DisneyNOW will present a new compilation video featuring popular Disney Channel stars throughout the years. Fans can relive their fondest Wand ID moments with Raven-Symoné, Hilary Duff, Miley Cyrus, Brenda Song, Selena Gomez, The Jonas Brothers, Cameron Boyce, Dove Cameron and many more. The new Disney Wand ID compilation video will go live in DisneyNOW and on Disney Channel YouTube, FRIDAY, MAY 24 at 10:00 a.m. PDT.
