Change to Bus service 792
From today, 9 April 2018, Service 792 from Abbey Village will be amalgamated with the 791 service which operates to Parklands. The 792 will be renumbered to the 791 service and will operate a slightly revised route & timetable.
This service is arranged by Lancashire Council. The new service provider will be RS Tyrers.
Letters have been sent home to those pupils who have travel passes for the service

From Barons Old Farm Dole Lane, Abbey Village Hare & Hounds, Bolton Road, Chorley Road, Blackburn Road, Bett Lane, Buckholes Lane, School Lane, Railway Road, Bury Lane, Chorley Road, Blackburn Road, A674, Victoria Street, Lower Wheelton, South Hill, Blackburn Road, A674, Blackburn Road, B6228, Blackburn Brow, Botany Brow, Harpers Lane, Water Street, Commercial Road, Park Road, St Thomas' Road, Southport Road, turn into Lancashire College and return along Southport Road to Parklands High School then Southport Road, St Thomas’ Road, Union Street, Clifford Street, Shepherd’s Way, Lyons Lane, Lyons Lane South, Bolton Road to Albany Academy (turning circle).
Return from Parklands High School Bus Bay, then Glamis Drive, Southport Road, St Thomas’ Road, Union Street, Clifford Street, Shepherd’s Way, Lyons Lane, Lyons Lane South, Bolton Road to Albany Academy (turning circle) then Bolton Road, Lyons Lane South, Lyons Lane, Shepherd’s Way, Clifford Street, Bengal Street, Water Street then by reverse of above to Abbey Village Hare & Hounds.

The newly revised 791 service will continue to serve all bus stops along route.
Passengers are advised are at their stop 5 minutes before the bus is due and to signal clearly to the driver by putting their hand out.
