"The bowl is a great reminder of the fact that some people don't have as much to eat," Plummer said. In preparation for the fundraiser more than 200 bowls were made including both wheel thrown and hand made bowls. Last month, a bowl-a-thon Sports was held on campus during which, Plummer along with Winona baseball other Winona area potters sits at top of produced 100 bowls that were used during the fundraiser.
