DCE was founded in 1993, shortly aŌer the birth of China’s futures market. In the first year of its establishment, 416.78 trading volume was only 39 thousand contracts, and turnover barely exceeded 500 million RMB, compared 403.17 with 403 million contracts and 20.9 trillion RMB in 2010.
