Lesson 5 Opener’s Reverses I hear players say, “I don’t do reverses.” The problem with reverse is the name! If we could go back to the 1940s and rename the reverse the “forcing partner to a higher level” bid, it would make more sense. Logic is the way to go. Lesson 6 Lebensohl After Reverses I always say, “if you can spell it, you can play it!” There are three situations in which to apply lebensohl and reverse is one of those times. It took me 15 years to figure out how to explain lebensohl logically. You are in luck…it is logical, and you will be explaining it to your partner when you leave class! Lesson 7 The Simple Squeeze The first play technique we learn is the finesse. Then we spend years mastering techniques to avoid the finesse. The Squeeze is one of those techniques. Donna will layout the elements of a simple squeeze ~ threat, non-threats, number of tricks, ducking tricks, number of threats, and order of suits played. Executing a squeeze takes time and practice but you will have the tools you need to begin your squeeze adventures! 4 lesson hands are included with the lesson bundle.
