BY BETHANY ROLSTON
A man who adored nature in the Waipa dis- trict is being honoured in an exhibition at the Te Awamutu Library. Through His Eyes showcases the work of well-known Te Awa- mutu photographer Phil Brown. One year after his death, his family, with Waipa District Council, has compiled an exhi- bition of his photo- graphs. Phil’s youngest daughter Jo Curry says the photos highlight her father’s fascination with Waipa’s nature. BY BETHANY ROLSTON
A (not very) long time ago in a town (not very) far away children and film industry professionals created something out of this world at a Star Wars-themed arts workshop. The holiday programme, run by Cambridge’s Ignite Arts Acad- emy, took over Cambridge High School for five days last week.
