Construction of the plant will not only enhance the sewage treatment capacity but will also ensure the discharge of high quality treated effluent into the drains, thereby, improving the quality of flow in the Supplementary drain which outfalls into River Yamuna. This process will also lead in abatement of pollution in the Yamuna.
