Photographs 46-65 taken on the island of or in the village Palaiochora which is located opposite on the southern coast of Crete. According to Ehrenberg, persons considered dangerous to public security during the Greek Civil War exiled on the island. Ehrenberg wrote comments on the back of most of these photographs and many are dated February 22, 1947.

127 black and white photographs numbered 1-31, 33-38, 38A-122. 1-4, and 79 are double photographs pasted back to back. Almost all undated but the majority appear to be from the late 1930 1s to the late 1940's. All glossies unless indicated otherwise. Descriptions and numbers supplied by Mrs. Ehrenberg. Sizes are height by width and represent dimensions of the image only, without any borders which appear on some of the larger photographs.
