Welcome to the 42Nd Annual Regional Emmy® Awards WELCOME TO THE 42ND ANNUAL REGIONAL EMMY® AWARDS Presented by The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Michigan Chapter President's Welcome Welcome to the 42nd Annual Emmy® Awards! Of course, we wish that we could all be together in one room tonight, like we always are at the Motor City Casino, but this is a dierent year. Nobody expected 2020 to be like this. e Coronavirus has aected so many, especially here in Michigan. Some of our colleagues in the television industry have been laid o, furloughed or let go--while others are working long hours to bring news and information to our communities every day. We’ve seen stories of hope, heroes and struggles; stories of a 500-year ood with homes and businesses destroyed; and stories of protests, rallies, demon- strations and destruction. All this while trying to stay healthy and safe. You have risked your lives trying to protect our Press Freedoms and showing the community how important your role really is. You have done phenomenal work and that’s why it’s important to celebrate your eorts tonight, even in a virtual setting. I am honored to be your President here in Michigan, but I am more honored to be among those in this great industry. I am humbled by your extraordinary eorts. And, while I wish were all in one room tonight, it does not diminish the achievement of being nominated or winning an Emmy Award this year. Congratulations again to all of the nominees and winners. Your work is shining through. Bob Gould Vice President of Awards Good Evening and welcome! On behalf of the Board of Governors and the Emmy® Committee, we would like to welcome you to the 42nd Michigan Regional Emmy® Awards. Tonight we are celebrating excellence in television. Of course, this is not how we hoped to celebrate and honor all of you, but our priority is recognizing a great year of creative content in Michigan television and keeping everyone safe. is year we received 604 submissions, 519 nominees in 73 categories and our entries were judged by Heartland, Nashville/Mid-South, Mid-America, Southeast and Suncoast chapters. I would like to thank the Emmy® Committee for all of their assistance in making this night a memorable one. Congratulations to all the nominees and recipients! So proud to be a part of this incredible community. Robin A. Tracey Alan C. Young & Associates, P.C. • Sinclair Broadcast Group Closes on Acquisition of Barrington Stations
Contact: David Amy, EVP & CFO, Sinclair Lucy Rutishauser, VP & Treasurer, Sinclair (410) 568-1500 SINCLAIR BROADCAST GROUP CLOSES ON ACQUISITION OF BARRINGTON STATIONS BALTIMORE (November 25, 2013) -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) (the “Company” or “Sinclair”) announced today that it closed on its previously announced acquisition of 18 television stations owned by Barrington Broadcasting Group, LLC (“Barrington”) for $370.0 million and entered into agreements to operate or provide sales services to another six stations. The 24 stations are located in 15 markets and reach 3.4% of the U.S. TV households. The acquisition was funded through cash on hand. As previously discussed, due to FCC ownership conflict rules, Sinclair sold its station in Syracuse, NY, WSYT (FOX), and assigned its local marketing agreement (“LMA”) and purchase option on WNYS (MNT) in Syracuse, NY to Bristlecone Broadcasting. The Company also sold its station in Peoria, IL, WYZZ (FOX) to Cunningham Broadcasting Corporation (“CBC”). In addition, the license assets of three stations were purchased by CBC (WBSF in Flint, MI and WGTU/WGTQ in Traverse City/Cadillac, MI) and the license assets of two stations were purchase by Howard Stirk Holdings (WEYI in Flint, MI and WWMB in Myrtle Beach, SC) to which Sinclair will provide services pursuant to shared services and joint sales agreements. Following its acquisition by Sinclair, WSTM (NBC) in Syracuse, NY, will continue to provide services to WTVH (CBS), which is owned by Granite Broadcasting, and receive services on WHOI in Peoria, IL from Granite Broadcasting. Sinclair has, however, notified Granite Broadcasting that it does not intend to renew these agreements in these two markets when they expire in March of 2017.

The AT&T contracts with programmers for the content displayed on U-verse TV service periodically expire, or may be terminated, but are usually re-negotiated or extended with no interruption or change for our U-verse members. Additionally, from time to time it is necessary to change channel line-ups as well as television package contents. The programming changes set forth below may occur as follows: July 2019 As previously noticed, the AT&T contract with the programmer for the following channels is set to expire. While these channels will continue to be available to U-verse members so long as AT&T has the rights to carry them, if a reasonable agreement cannot be reached with the programmer the programming will no longer be available. AT&T may modify the channel location for the programming by moving them from their current channel location to a channel between 9501 – 9599, and if a reasonable longer term agreement cannot be reached with the programmers, we may lose the rights to carry them (listed in alphabetical order) on or after July 2019: Family Entertainment TV (channel 578); EVINE Live and EVINE Live in HD; Heroes & Icons (channel 137 and 1137 in HD); MBC America (channel 3643); MeTV (channel 23, 136 and 1023 and 1136 in HD). As well as the following: 1) Atlanta, GA area, WUPA (channel 69 and 1069 in HD); 2) August, GA area, WJBF (channel 6 and 1006 in HD); 3) Austin, TX area, KXAN (channel 4 and 1004 in HD), KBVO (channel 7 and 1007 in HD), KNVA (channel 12 and 1012 in HD); 4) Bakersfi eld, CA area, KKEY (channel 11 and 3007 in HD),
