 North side of Cypress Road from NW 65th Avenue to North Fig Tree

3  Project Objective The objective of the project is to enhance the pedestrian traffic connectivity from the residential developments abutting Cypress Road from NW 65th Avenue to North Fig Tree Lane and to allow local residents to access different city parks, schools, and shopping plazas on foot or bicycle.

 Five (5) foot concrete sidewalk  ADA compatible curb ramps at intersections  Detectable warning surfaces  New crosswalk stripping  Drainage modifications, pedestrian lighting and landscaping modifications will be provided as necessary

 The City has submitted an application for funding from the Broward Metropolitan Planning Organization (“MPO”) Complete Streets and Other Localized Initiatives Program (“CSLIP”) Cycle 5 for this sidewalk improvement project.

 In an effort to engage community and get their feedback regarding this plan, the City is seeking your input. Your input is valuable and your support is greatly appreciated.
