Weekly News and Announcements May 25 John Billock, Hello Rotarians and Friends! If you weren’t at this week’s meeting, you missed Orthotics and Prosthetics – out on something special. Anthony Cafaro Sr. was our speaker and he provided us Update on with a fabulous look back at his family; the past, present and future of the Rotary Project Eastwood Mall; and the Cafaro Company’s plans and hopes for the future.

His presentation drew many guests to the meeting, far too many to list here, but they included folks from the City of Warren, Howland Township, City of Niles, and

many friends and colleagues of our members. All in all, it was wonderful to have so Rotary many from the community (as well as the media) join us for this week’s meeting.

Motto Diane Sauer wrapped up her month on Fellowship and, as expected, did a great job. Next week we begin a full month with Judy Masaki and we can’t wait to see what Service Above she has for us. Avenues Club Board Meeting – The May board meeting will be held on TUESDAY, May 17th, at a location to be announced. Please note the change in day and date. of Service Harding Robotics Team Fund Raiser – Bob Jadloski is working hard to provide Club Service support to Harding’s Robotics Team which will be going to the World Championship soon. He is selling some of his aerial photographs of the Trumbull Vocational County Courthouse in various sizes. If anyone has seen his work, you will agree he Service does a fabulous job. He has a couple of versions ranging in price from $10 to $60. All proceeds will go to Harding’s Robotics Team. If you didn’t attend this week to Community talk to Bob about purchasing one, please make plans to do so next week. Service Presidents Night – Please mark your calendars!!! Presidents Night will be held International the evening of Wednesday, June 29th. More information will be shared later. Service Every Rotarian, Every Year - The Annual Fund is the primary source of funding Youth Service for the programs of The Rotary Foundation. In order for us to continue doing so much good in the world, it is necessary for Every Rotarian to participate in the

program and to support our Foundation Every Year. We ask that all Warren

Rotarians give annually to the Every Rotarian, Every Year Campaign.

Donations can be made in one lump sum of $100, $10 per month (September through June), or $50 two times a year added on to your dues payment. Checks, cash and credit cards are accepted.
