Proposed Terms of Reference for EIA Study The generic structure of Environment Impact Assessment Study Report will be as under:

1. Introduction

This will cover the location and justification of the proposed project profile and scoping and methodology for the EIA study.

2. Project Description

It will include the below mention details.

Location of the project

Product profile

Resource requirement

Manufacturing process and raw material requirement

Data on monitoring in respect with the compliance of the present environmental permissions

Material handling and storage

Details on existing and proposed Environmental Management System and Monitoring.

Storage and handling of hazardous chemicals

Implementation of systems for issues like Rain Water Harvesting and Green Belt development, Occupational Health monitoring, CSR etc.

3. Baseline Environmental Description

The data regarding baseline environmental conditions will be generated as per the guideline of MoEF as well as collected through literature survey wherever necessary. The methodology for collection of baseline data for each of the component/environmental attribute is described below. For Rapid EIA study,baseline data are already collected for the period of February -2019to May -2019 in order to save the time & considering the upcoming monsoon season.

The Study area

The area proposed for EIA study is within radius of 10 km considering the proposed site as Centre. Total 8 numbers of locations have been already established within the study area Proposed Project of Androst Biotech Plot No.: 23 to 26, G.I.D.C Estate, At. Sojitra , Tal: Sojitra, Dist: Anand. Gujarat Proposed ToR Ramans Enviro Services Pvt. Ltd | Ahmedabad considering prominent upwind and downwind directions and quadrants covering all 120º sector and central location. Maximum two locations will be selected in upwind direction.

3.1. Air The air quality parameters namely PM10 ,PM2.5,Sulfur Dioxide(SO2) & Oxides of Nitrogen(NOx) have been already analyzed by respirable dust sampler on 24 hourly basis, twice a week at each location for representing the baseline status within the study area. 3.2. Meteorology Site specific micro-meteorological parameters such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature and humidity have been already collected by installing weather monitoring station within the study area. Based on the data, wind rose diagram will be prepared to represent the predominant wind direction within the project area. Water The surface water quality of nearby water sources including surface sources and groundwater have been already collected from 8 locations and analyzed to characterize the water bodies with respect to physico-chemical parameters and to indicate present pollution levels. Land Use The present land use pattern of the study area will be collected through available satellite imaginary picture. Soil For the detailed characterization of land environment, surface soil samples have been already collected from project site. Significant physico-chemical parameters of soil, i.e pH, Texture, Cation exchange capacity, Conductivity, Sodium absorption ration will be analyzed for collected sample. Noise Hourly equivalent noise levels have been already measured at the selected locations for day and night time using integrated sound level meter once in a season.

Note : Location being within the GIDC notified area, the study on Ecology -Biodiversity, Socio-Economic & Geo-hydro-logical will not be undertaken.

4. Identification and Assessment of the Impacts

The activities having the potential to cause environmental impact will be identified and the degree of impact will be assessed using standard matrix methods. The following environmental attributes will be considered to establish the cause-effect relationship with the Proposed Project of Androst Biotech Plot No.: 23 to 26, G.I.D.C Estate, At. Ltd | Ahmedabad various activities of the proposed project - water, air, noise, land and occupational health & safety.

5. Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan

Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan will be prepared based on the anticipated environmental impact. It will also cover details on Occupational Health programs and as well as for corporate social responsibilities and CERP policy development of Green Belt.

6. Risk Assessment:

The study will include risk assessment for storage, handling, transportation etc. for the raw material(s) and products to be used in the plant. Occupational risk involved during operational phase of the plant will be assessed and necessary safety and protective measures will be recommended.
