Reece’s Advances on All-Time Lists FB Marcel Reece finished the game with three receptions and 26 yards and two touchdowns for his first career multi-touchdown game. He moves ahead of Hewritt Dixon (1,750) and Darren McFadden (1,769) for the sixth most receiving yards by a Raiders running back. Reece recorded the 10th receiving touchdown of his career on an 11-yard strike from QB Matt McGloin in the fourth quarter, and added another on a 9-yard pass later in the quarter. Reece is now tied for third (Steve Smith) among Raiders running backs with 11 career receiving touchdowns. Murray by Air and Ground RB Latavius Murray led the Raiders rushing attack by averaging 4.0 yards per carry with 11 attempts for 44 yards. Tuck Deflects a Pair of Passes and One Extra Point Attempt DE Justin Tuck batted down a pass attempt from Bengals QB Andy Dalton in the first quarter for the 30th pass defensed of his career and his seventh as a Raider. Tuck knocked down another Dalton attempt in the third quarter, following up that play with a tackle for a 5-yard loss to force a Bengals punt. Tuck also blocked an extra point attempt from the foot of Mike Nugent in the third quarter, marking the first blocked point-after try by a Raider since Desmond Bryant, Dec. 11, 2011 at GB. Tuck’s first career blocked field goal came last season on Sept. 14, 2014 vs. Hou. September 13, 2015 Crabtree Reaches 350 Career Receptions WR Michael Crabtree started his first game as a Raider and caught five passes, the first four all providing first downs, for 37 yards. Crabtree’s first reception in the Silver and Black came on a 10-yard pickup for a first down in the first quarter. Crabtree added receptions of eight and 11 yards on the final two plays of the third quarter, both good for first downs, which put him over 350 receptions for his career. He finished the contest with 352 career receptions. Lofton and Penn Extend Consecutive Starts Streak LB Curtis Lofton started his 100th straight game at middle linebacker, extending what is the second longest active streak among linebackers (David Harris, New York Jets, 101). T Donald Penn started his 125th straight game at tackle, extending what is the third longest active streak among offensive linemen. McGloin Tosses Two Touchdowns QB Matt McGloin entered the game in relief of starting QB Derek Carr and threw for 142 yards on 23- of-31 passing (74.2) percent with two touchdowns and one interception for a passer rating of 91.1. Roberts and Walford Record First Receptions WR Seth Roberts made his regular season debut and hauled in the first catch of his career in the third quarter for an 8-yard gain. Roberts finished with three receptions for 12 yards. Rookie TE Clive Walford also caught his first NFL pass, a 1-yard pickup. Olawale Sets Personal Bests FB/RB Jamize Olawale set a new career high for rushing yards in a game (six) and for receptions in a game with three catches for 19 yards. Williams Bats Down a Pass DT Dan Williams has now recorded a pass defensed in each of his six NFL seasons after batting down an attempt from Bengals QB Andy Dalton in the fourth quarter.
