Thanks so much for your note and the good news! We appreciate Congressman Keating becoming a cosponsor of H.R. 4644.

The meeting would be for several purposes: (1) Yes, we definitely want to discuss H.R. 4644 with Congressman Keating and share our thoughts on the legislation; (2) We were also hoping to discuss tomorrow's SFRC hearing on Libya and a the possibility of another HFAC hearing on Libya prior to the next committee markup (if the bill reaches the cosponsor threshold for consideration); (3) If we can make it work this trip or on a future visit, we'd like to introduce Representative Keating to our client, Mohammed Ali Abdallah, the Political Advisor for U.S. Affairs to Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj (bio attached); and, (4) We would also like have a larger conversation with Congressman Keating about the conflict in Libya and ways to increase U.S. support for the Government of National Accord.

In the meantime, let me know if I can send over any additional background information in preparation for the meeting.

I wanted to reach out because we've been trying to navigate a packed week this week but I wanted to touch base as the Congressman's scheduler attempts to find a good time because Rep. Keating has decided to join the bill you referenced and so I wanted to flag that in case that was the main focus of the meeting?
