As we usher in a new month and approach a new DIVIDED WE CHOOSE season, we have several to talk about. As noted last month, The Lawrence Welk Show is moving to 6pm as we introduce The Show to the weekly schedule Saturdays at 7pm. This is the final year for The Lawrence Welk Show on WITF. Rights will expire on the series in August 2021. In April, WITF designated programs in the afternoon as part of our Learning Home Initiative. This effort continues to evolve with changes beginning September 7. The Learning at Home schedule includes programming for students in Kindergarten up to twelfth grade. Over the summer, our Learning at Home block ran from 2 to 4pm. This month the block expands to four hours weekdays beginning at 11am. This will move our collection of weekday cooking and crafting programs to 3pm. Early evening also features a change beginning September 7. We retire our • one-hour kids block of programs at 7pm.
