A TRIPLE DOSE OF DOUBLES--With Alex Gordon and Alcides Escobar each doubled in last night’s victory, the Royals are the only Major League club with three players in possession of at least 20 doubles...Gordo and Esky each picked up their 20th to join teammate Eric Hosmer, who has 21 and tied for third in the league...amazingly, Escobar has already matched his entire two-base output of a season ago, when he finished with 20...KC is second in the A.L. with 136 doubles.
