James Decker (Color) • Joseph Chartouny, the 2016 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year, is second in the NCAA Division I in steals (3.36/ Jonah Haskell (Producer/Engineer) game) and is third in the Atlantic 10 and 53rd in the nation in assists (5.0/game). • Chartouny has set a school record with 94 steals so far this year. • Fordham is second in the NCAA in steals/game (9.9) and total steals (308). • Fordham became the 69th NCAA Division I school to win 1,500 games with the victory over Rider on November 23. • The winner of the Fordham/George Mason game will face second-seeded VCU in the quarterfinals on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the PPG Paints Arena. www.fordhamsports.com Fordham University Basketball Game Notes - 3 FORDHAM IN THE ATLANTIC 10 CHAMPIONSHIP This year will be Fordham’s 16th appearance at the Atlantic 10 Championships with the Rams holding a 6-16 record all-time in the tournament, picking up their first win in 2005 with a 65-53 opening round win over Duquesne, after dropping their first nine games in the tournament. In 2007, the Rams had their best showing, advancing to the semifinals, defeating Richmond (45-37) in the first round and La Salle (64-62) in the quarterfinals before falling to Xavier (70-59) in the semifinals.
