Head coaches BRIAN BILLICK of the , JACK DEL RIO of the and TONY DUNGY of the are the nominees for Motorola NFL Coach of the Week honors for games played October 29-30, the NFL announced today.

Fans can vote on NFL.com for the head coach whose game plan played the greatest role in his team’s victory. Voting will take place from Tuesday morning through noon EST on Friday to determine the Motorola NFL Coach of the Week. The winner will be announced Friday afternoon on NFL.com. In January, voting will be held on NFL.com to determine the Motorola NFL Coach of the Year.

A closer look at the Motorola NFL Coach of the Week nominees:

• Baltimore’s BRIAN BILLICK, who last week took over the offensive play-calling duties for the Ravens, led his team into New Orleans where it defeated the Saints 35-22 on the strength of a balanced offense and dominant defense. Steve McNair had his best game as a Raven, throwing for 159 yards and two and adding a rushing , and recorded his first 100-yard rushing game of the season. Baltimore’s defense forced four turnovers and scored two touchdowns on returns to help the Ravens improve to 5-2.

• Jacksonville’s JACK DEL RIO led his team into Philadelphia and defeated the Eagles 13-6 on Sunday. With quarterback David Garrard starting in place of the injured , Del Rio relied on the running game to move the football. Running backs Fred Taylor and Maurice Jones-Drew combined for 180 yards and one touchdown on 36 carries, and Garrard added 8 carries for 36 yards. The Jacksonville defense applied pressure to Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb all day, sacking him four times, and held Philadelphia to 227 total yards of offense.

• Indianapolis’ TONY DUNGY took his undefeated team to Denver on Sunday for a match-up with the 5- 1 Broncos and came away with a thrilling 34-31 victory. Facing one of the NFL’s stingiest defenses on their home field, Dungy relied on the brilliance of quarterback , who completed 32 of 39 passes for 345 yards and three touchdowns and led the Colts back from a 14-6 halftime deficit. With less than two minutes left in the game and the score tied at 31, Manning drove Indianapolis 62 yards to set up a 37-yard game-winning by .
