Egypt and Algeria confirmed their spots at the FIVB Girls’ Youth World Championship, taking place in Turkey from August 12 to 21, while Serbia, France, Russia, Bulgaria, Spain and Greece secured their spots at the boys’ edition in Argentina from August 19 to 28.

Egypt’s girls earned qualification by clinching top spot at the African Na- tional Girls’ Youth World Championship on April 5 and were joined by Algeria who finished in second place.

On April 23 the top six finishers at the CEV Youth Volleyball Boys’ Champion- ship sealed their progress to the boys’ event. The 20 players come from nine clubs, with an average height of 1.87m and an average age of 22. The youngest player is , who is only 17, from Shanghai Club.
