The tournament will be played this November 9, 2010 at Rio Secco Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada. Johnson, who will be making his Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge debut, is enjoying a breakout season in 2010 and is emerging as one of the TOUR’s top players. With seven top-10 finishes, including victories at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am and last week’s BMW Championship, Johnson will enter the TOUR Championship presented by Coca Cola on September 23 ranked No. 2 in FedExCup Playoff points after finishing the 2010 regular FedExCup season points race in 11th place. He is currently ranked No. 2 on the PGA TOUR money list with more than $4.3 million in earnings, both career highs, and is also ranked No. 3 in driving distance on the PGA TOUR with a 308.1 yard average. Johnson has recorded at least one victory in each of his past three seasons on the PGA TOUR and will compete in his first Ryder Cup this October in Wales. One of the brightest young stars on the PGA TOUR, Watson will be making his third Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge appearance and second in a row as a member of the PGA TOUR team. He is enjoying a career year in 2010 with four top-10 finishes so far this season, including his first career PGA TOUR victory at the Travelers Championship. He has earned a career high $3,051,998 so far in 2010, placing him 12th on the PGA TOUR money list. He finished the 2010 regular FedExCup season points race in 8th place and currently stands 18th in the FedExCup Playoffs heading into his second appearance (2008) at the TOUR Championship presented by Coca Cola. Watson is currently ranked No.2 in driving distance on the PGA TOUR with a 309.3 yard average and will be competing for Team USA in his first Ryder Cup this October. Weekley was one of six rookies and an emotional leader on the winning 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup Team played at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky. He earned 2.5 points in three matches for the team, including a 4- and-2 win over Oliver Wilson in Sunday Singles. Weekley garnered worldwide attention for riding his driver "cowboy horse" style down the first fairway during the Ryder Cup, leading eventually to an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." Weekley also dropped the green flag at the 2008 fall NASCAR race in Talladega, Alabama. In related news, beginning in 2010 Wendy’s 3-Tour Challenge will partner with Golf Channel as the events exclusive television partner.
