The Faculty of of the invites applications for a tenured professorship (W3, Chair) in Molecular Immunology

The appointee shall become Head of the Department of Molecular Immunology. Applicants shall have an excellent scientific track record in the areas of adaptive and inherited immunology and engage in interdisciplinary research on these topics.. Integration into the focus areas of the Faculty, in particular protein science, neuroscience, oncology and into the target areas of infectiology and immunology, as well as cooperations with our clinical competence centres are explicitly desired. The appointee is also expected to participate in all aspects of the integrated and reformed medical degree curriculum that relate to infectiology /immunology, as well as in teaching of fundamental clinical topics within our modular teaching concept.

Applicants must have an M.D. or PhD degree, relevant teaching experience including a Habilitation degree or equivalent scientific and educational qualifications, an outstanding research track record including successful acquisition of third party funding, and be willing to participate in academic faculty management. Fluency in the ist required.
