At the West Piedra Day-Use Area, a metal gate on the Piedra Trail designates the Parkʼs northern hunting area Deer Run 1.7 miles boundary. At the Deer Run Day-Use Area, the northern edge of the parking lot designates the Parkʼs northern hunting Piedra Flats 2.7 miles area boundary. Arboles Point 3.6 miles • From Arboles Point, beginning where the San Juan River enters Navajo Reservoir, southwest to the Cottonwood Day-Use Area. San Juan Overlook 4.4 miles At the Cottonwood Day-Use Area, the southern edge of the parking lot designates the Parkʼs southern hunting area boundary. CONCERNING A 2020-21 STATE FISCAL YEAR TRANSFER FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE CAPITAL CONSTRUCTION FUND FOR INCREASED ACCESS AT CERTAIN STATE PARKS, AND, IN CONNECTION THEREWITH, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Colorado: SECTION 1. Legislative declaration. (1) The general assembly hereby finds and declares that: (a) The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly increased state parks usage, against a backdrop of growth in recent years, as Colorado residents seek outdoor and socially distanced activities. State parks usage grew by 2.2 million visitor days from the 2014-15 state fiscal year and a further thirty percent during the spring of 2020. Capital letters or bold & italic numbers indicate new material added to existing law; dashes through words or numbers indicate deletions from existing law and such material is not part of the act. (b) Accelerating the development of Fishers Peak State Park and improving amenities at eleven other state parks will relieve pressure from such high usage and prepare for future demand. SECTION 2. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 24-75-302, amend (2)(kk) and (2)(11); and add (2)(mm) as follows: 24-75-302. Capital construction fund - capital assessment fees - calculation - information technology capital account. (2) The controller shall transfer a sum as specified in this subsection (2) from the general fund to the capital construction fund as money becomes available in the general fund during the fiscal year beginning on July 1 of the fiscal year in which the transfer is made.

Ninety-Five Years!!! I think Frank had plans for Cheley Camps to celebrate 95 years of success. He built the lodges and cabins with quality and a vision that Cheley Camps would impact children for years to come. With only 70 boys at the time, he built Ski Hi Lodge to handle over 200 people. He purchased the Land ‘O Peaks Ranch that had enough room for expansion and provided a buffer from the future growth of Estes Park. I think Frank would be humbled and IN THIS ISSUE... honored to see that Cheley Camps is still Ninety-Five Years of Fun .................... 1 alive and well. We have weathered fires, Camp Dates for 2016 Season ............ 2 floods, economic downturns, and changes 95th Reunion ..................................... 2 in our culture. However, we still provide an experience that is so important for our Lower Chipeta 2015 ........................... 3 youth. Don Brown, U.S. Bureau of Mines STUDIES RELATED TO WILDERNESS Under the provisions of the Wilderness Act (Public Law 88-577, September 3, 1964) and related acts, the U.S. Geological Survey and the U.S. Bureau of Mines have been conducting mineral surveys of wilderness and primitivE.. areas. Areas officially designated as "wilderness," "wild," or "canoe" when the act was passed were incorporated into the National Wilderness Preservation System, and some of them are being studied at present. The act provided that areas under consideration for wilderness designation should be studied for suitability for incorporation into the Wilderness System. The mineral surveys constitute one aspect of the suitability studies. The act directs that the results of such surveys are to be made available to the public and be submit ted to the President and the Congress. This report discusses the · results of a mineral survey of the Piedra Wilderness Study Area, San Juan National Forest, Archuleta and Hinsdale Counties, Colorado. The area was established as a wilderness study area by Public Law 96-560, known as the Colorado Wilderness Act of 1980. MINERAL RESOURCE POTENTIAL SUMMARY STATEMENT The mineral resource potential of the Piedra Wilderness Study Area is low. No occurrences of metallic minerals, of valuable industrial rocks and minerals, or of useful concentrations of organic fuels are known in the study area.

Introduction This chapter documents the Bureau of Reclamation's (Reclamation) consultation and coordination activities during the preparation of this Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for Navajo Reservoir Operations. The public involvement activities are described, including the public scoping process, along with information on the activities that were implemented to solicit input from those agencies with jurisdictional authority, interest, or expertise in the activities or issues addressed in this FEIS. II. PLIblic Involvement Activities Reclamation used several methods to obtain public input in developing the FEIS, including scoping meetings and dissemination of public information through project newsletters, news releases, paid advertisements, and a project website. These public involvement activities are described in more detail in the following sections. Public Scoping Process One of the steps in preparing this and other environmental impact documents is called "scoping," which is designed to help determine the scope of issues and alternatives to be analyzed in the document from the interest and perspective of the public. Scoping occurs as early as possible after a lead agency decides to prepare a FEIS under a process governed by the Council on Environmental Quality (oversight agency for the National Environmental Chapter V - Consultation and Coordination FEIS - Navajo Reservoir Operations Policy Act [NEPA] process). The scoping process provides the general public, local agencies, affected Federal and State agencies, and others the opportunity to provide input on key issues and concerns they believe should be evaluated in the environmental document.
