Dear Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency,

I am writing to you today to express my support for Pacific NorthWest LNG.

Th rough knowing employees at Progress Energy Canada Ltd., Pacific NorthWest LNG's sister company, I know Pacific NorthWest LNG is committed to developing an environmentally responsible project, just as Progress Energy is committed to environmentally sustainable upstream development. I have been impressed with PNW LNG's willingness to incorporate feedback from the local community and First Nations into the design of the facility, and I believe this is a very responsible industrial development that maintains the integrity of the environment.

In addition, both Progress Energy and Pacific NorthWest LNG are already creating economic benefits in BC and . There are approximately 300 full-time employees currently working for Progress Energy, and there are approximately 80 full-time employees at Pacific NorthWest LNG. Once operational PNW LNG will directly employ over 300 people. Progress Energy would create and sustain approximately 2,800 jobs to provide the facility with natural gas. That is not including the thousands of construction jobs building the facility, and indirect jobs that w ill support the facility during operations. This is a much needed economic benefit for labor forces in Alberta and BC.

I am asking the to approve Pacific NorthWest LNG's environmental certificate.
