Hong Kong Tramways will launch its first-ever self-promotional campaign in more than two decades, which includes a digital campaign and displays on the tram body, tram shelter and tram pole. The campaign depicts the visuals of a tram as a kind of roller blade for ‘speed walk’ of all walks of life which ease any moves on short and medium distance, reminding our community that tram is a highly accessible, most affordable, most eco-friendly as well as most space efficient mode of road service transportation.

Although Tramways is facing keen competition in a more and more challenging and difficult operating environment with the opening of the MTR West Island Line and the deterioration of the road traffic condition, Hong Kong Tramways will continue to spare no effort in improving its service to maintain a stable ridership. Proud of being the heritage icon of our city, we are dedicated to provide the best transport solution to the people of Hong Kong.
