Prior to that, the last time a Cavs player accomplished that feat Zydrunas Ilgauskas 10/31/97 at Celtics 16 pts, 16 rebs was almost seven years ago when LeBron James had 31 points and 19 boards on Jan. 11, 2008 versus Charlotte.

• LOVE-LY DEBUT: Kevin Love registered a double-double in his first action as a Cavalier after posting 19 points and a game-high 14 rebounds in 38 minutes against New York on Oct. 30. He is just the 7th player in the last 30 years to notch a double-double in his Cavaliers debut.

TRISTAN’S TAKEOVER: In 2014-15, Tristan Thompson ranks 4th in the NBA in total offensive rebounds (253) and 5th in offensive rebounds per game (3.4). In a win over Oklahoma City on Jan. 25, Thompson became the first Cavs bench player to tally 10 points, 16 rebounds and three blocks since April 19, 2006 when Anderson Varejao did so against Atlanta (14 pts/18 rebs/3 blks). The last Cavs player to shoot at least .833 from the field while recording at least 24 points and 12 rebounds was J.J. Hickson (24 pts/14 rebs) on Jan. 28, 2011 vs. Denver.

• OH CANADA: In a road win against the Raptors on Dec. 5, Toronto native Tristan Thompson poured in then season highs of 21 points and 14 rebounds (nine offensive) in 33 minutes off the bench. Nearly two months later, the Cavs had five players scored at least 17 points in a win in Dallas on March 10 (James-27, Irving-22, Love-21, Smith-21, Mozgov-17), the first time reaching that mark since Jan. 15, 1993 at Indiana (Price-23, Nance-24, Ehlo-22, Daugherty- 25, Battle-17).
