timpani / percussion audition repertoire and orchestral excerpts Master of Music (Orchestral Performance)
Audition works: Candidates are required to perform two solo pieces as follows:
1. Solo snare drum piece (2-3 minutes long), to be choose from: jacques delecluse 12 Studies for Snare or similar
2. Timpani solo piece (2-3 minutes long) to be chosen from: elliott carter Eight Pieces for Four Timpani or Own choice of mallet keyboard solo
All candidates must supply sheet music of their solo repertoire. Please ensure repertoire is of a suitable standard.
