Amherstburg Chevrolet Buick GMC announces first annual Ed Jovanovski Charity Golf Classic to be held on July 13 Registration now open Amherstburg, April 18, 2015 – For immediate release (NHL) All-Star and Olympic Gold Medal winner, Ed Jovanovski will be returning to his hometown of Windsor, with some of his celebrity NHL friends on July 13 to play in his first annual Charity Golf Classic. Presented by Amherstburg Chevrolet Buick GMC the Ed Jovanovski Charity Golf Classic will be raising funds for the Canadian Cancer Society in support of breast cancer research. “I am honoured to be taking part in what I expect will be a fun and important annual event to support the Canadian Cancer Society,” said Ed Jovanovski. “Registration is now open and I encourage you to sign up. With your help we will be able to raise funds that will go towards making a significant difference in the lives of many people touched by this terrible disease.”

The Ed Jovanovski Charity Golf Classic will be held at Pointe West Golf Club in Amherstburg. The tournament includes a day of golf, deli-style luncheon, Hole In One Prizes, a putting contest, live and silent auctions, dinner and more. Registration is now open and spots are filling up fast.
