MOON TAXI TO OPEN NFL DRAFT ACTIVITIES WITH FREE PERFORMANCE ON THE DRAFT MAIN STAGE IN ON THURSDAY, APRIL 25

Sixwire Added to NFL Draft Main Stage as First House Band to Perform in Between Draft Picks

Lindsay Ell, Mez, Ryan Hurd, TSU Aristocrat of Bands Added to Music Lineup with Tim McGraw, Dierks Bentley, Cece Winans as Part of More Than 20 Nashville-Based Acts – From Country, Rock, Pop, Americana, Blues and More – to Perform at Free NFL Draft Experience

NASHVILLE – The NFL and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp today announced that MOON TAXI, an indie-alternative rock band founded and based in Nashville, will kick off the 2019 NFL Draft Experience with a free performance on the Draft Main Stage on Thursday, April 25. The performance is part of the 2019 NFL Draft Experience – a free three-day football festival, held outside of Nissan Stadium, that will feature a variety of activities for fans of all ages.

The artists announced today are part of the lineup of more than 20 Nashville-based acts representing diverse genres of music that will perform during the three days of free activities at the NFL Draft Experience Presented by Oikos® Triple Zero. They include singer- songwriter LINDSAY ELL, who will open for Dierks Bentley on Saturday, April 27. Country singer- songwriter RYAN HURD will play on April 27 as St. Jude Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville® Marathon & ½ Marathon runners cross the finish line and join the Draft activities outside of Nissan Stadium. Hip hop artist MEZ has also been added to the Thursday lineup at the Draft Experience Stage. The critically acclaimed band will be the first ever house band to provide entertainment between Draft selections on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26. The Tennessee State University (TSU) “The Aristocrat of Bands” marching show band will also perform during the NFL Draft Red Carpet at The Green at Riverfront Park on Thursday, April 25. GRAMMY-winning gospel music great CECE WINANS will sing the National Anthem to help open the Draft on Thursday, April 25.

The 2019 NFL Draft will feature a free concert each night with headlining performances on the Draft Main Stage by GRAMMY-winner TIM MCGRAW on Friday, April 26, and multi-platinum singer/songwriter DIERKS BENTLEY on Saturday, April 27, as previously announced.

In addition to the concert series, Downtown Nashville’s Lower Broadway and the area outside Nissan Stadium will host free public activities during the three days of the 2019 NFL Draft for all

fans. These exciting events include autograph signings with current NFL players and NFL Legends, interactive games, Play Football clinics, and Look Like a Pro where fans can have their picture taken with a Draft day jersey of their favorite NFL team.
