TONIGHT’S STORYLINES This is game two of this seven-game series of round one of the 2020 NHL Playoffs between the Flames and Stars. The Flames lead this series 1-0, winning their first game against the Dallas Stars in the playoffs in franchise history.

This is a Western Conference against Western Conference matchup; the Flames finished the regular season with a record of 20-18-5 against Western Conference opponents and a record of 7-8-4 against the Central Division.

DOUBLE DUBE: Dillon Dube notched two first period goals on Tuesday to become the sixth player in Calgary Flames franchise history, first in a quarter century, to score to first period goals in the playoffs. Dube joins the likes of Theo Fleury, Al MacInnis (twice), and Doug Gilmour on that list. The 22-year-old has now scored in back-to-back games and has four points (3G, 1A) in the postseason.

MULTI-GAME MILAN: The streak continues as Milan Lucic notched another put in Tuesday’s win to extend his point-streak to five games in these playoffs. Five games means Milan has notched a point in every single game in the post season giving him five points (1G, 4A) in five games. This is the third time Lucic has notched a five-game-point-streak in the playoffs in his career with his most recent coming from Apr. 24 – May 6, 2014.

RA RA RASMUS: Ramus Andersson notched his first career game-winning-goal in the playoffs with Tuesday’s winner and now has three playoff goals in his career. With that, Rasmus joins Al MacInnic (9), Paul Reinhart (7), (5), Dana Murzyn (4), Steve Konroyd (4), and Gary Suter (4) as the only Flames defencemen to score 3+ career playoff goals with the Flames by age 23 or younger. The 23-year-old also became the 3rd youngest d-man to score a game-winning-goal in Flames playoff history.

DID YOU KNOW?: Milan Lucic is the first Flames player to start the postseason with a five-game-point-streak since Jarome Iginla in 2006.
