Prior to joining Singtel, she was the Senior Tax Director for Yahoo Asia Pacific, where she led the taxation role for more than 10 countries in Asia Pacific. Li Mei has more than 19 years of experience, serving multinational, local and Singapore listed companies in a variety of industries, including the retail, consumer products and services, manufacturing, funds and fund management as well as other commercial sectors.

She is well versed in Singapore income tax law and practice and has also been extensively involved in advising on a wide range of issues including cross-border taxation issues, the use of double tax treaties focusing on BEPS, MLI, permanent establishment issues and withholding tax, corporate restructuring, tax due diligence, acquisition structuring, and post-acquisition restructuring.

Li Mei was seconded to Deloitte New York from September 2009 to September 2012 where she was the Singapore desk leader in our International Core of Excellence (ICE) program.

Victor Mills is a Singapore Citizen and Chief Executive, Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC) which he has led for nearly 6 years. SICC, founded in 1837, is Singapore’s most inclusive and longest-serving business association.
