● Due to the reorganization of the IHSA athletics calendar, high school baseball will now be played from April 19 to June 26th. ● Our plan: ○ Spring Season | March 22-April 18 ○ 4 weeks of additional preparation for the IHSA season. ○ Includes players who do not participate in an IHSA spring sport. ○ 10-12+ Games - Events or League Play ○ Team Workouts Summer Season

● Our summer season will begin following the IHSA season. ● Our plan: ○ June 28-August 1 | 5 Weeks ○ Weekly Practices ○ 5 Weekend Events ○ Mixture of local & travel events ● Uniforms & Equipment: ○ Marucci - Jerseys, pants, helmets, bags, gloves, wood bats ○ New Balance - Footwear (metal spikes, turfs, etc.) Travel Tournaments

Underclass/Upperclass ● We are preparing for the next level +1 ● Players will be rostered to foster growth ● Roster flexibility, we don’t want players “stuck” ● MLB/MiLB model ○ 5-8 levels to get out of “A” Ball (Underclass Teams) ○ AA, AAA, MLB (Upperclass teams) ○ 18U = CPP (College Prep Program) ● Franchise 40 (MLB 40 Man - Doesn’t matter your age/grad year) Franchise 40
