Within the context of our chapter on the cinema, our class has decided to make a complete magazine speaking about cinema. We are of course led by our English teacher, Mrs. Collomb-Patton. All of your favorite actors have met in this one and only magazine, just for you ! For this brand new edition, our journalists have chosen several subjects, like games, reviews by professionals on the most popular movies, presentation of actors, what’s next in cinemas; movies that you have been waiting for so long to be released. Ready player one : 29 March 2018 Ready player one is a science fction movie directed by the famous Steven Spielberg starring Olivia Cooke as Samantha Cook, Tye Sheridan as Wade Walls and Ben Mendelsohn as Nolan Sorrento. It's an adaptation of Ernest Cline's novel. It shows us a ravaged world : global warming, famine, poverty, war. So, to forget about the real world, people enter a global system of virtual reality. One day, the creator of the game says that he will give a huge prize to the person who fnds the easter egg. We follow the path of a young boy, Wade Walls who is trying to fnd this egg. The Nun : 7 September 2018 The Nun is an american horror movie directed by Corin Hardy starring Bonnie Aarons as the nun. It's a spin-off of Conjuring 2. In a Romanian Covent, a group is sent to investigate the mysterious death of a nun but they must face Valak, a demon who has taken the form of a nun. Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom : 22 June 2018 Jurassic World : Fallen Kingdom is a science fction adventure flm directed by J. A. Bayona, it's a sequel to Jurassic World which was released in 2015. When a volcano erupts on Isla Nublar, the dinosaurs are in danger. To try and save the dinosaurs Claire creates the dinosaur protection group and she recruits Owen who used to work at the park. Mission Impossible : Fallout : 27 July 2018 Mission Impossible : Fallout is an action spy flm directed by Christopher McQuarrie. This is the sixth installment in the Mission Impossible flm series. After the Mission Impossible Force failed a mission, Ethan Hunt and his team try to prevent a global catastrophe. Actors : Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames... The Incredibles 2 : 4 July 2018 This animation is the next installment in the Incredibles series. Whilst the mother of the family is out fghting crime, her husband (Mr Incredible) must take care of their three children (Violet, Dash, Jack-Jack). In parallel to his new job he also has to fght a new villain. Truth or dare : Friday 13 April 2018 Truth or dare is a supernatural horror movie directed by Jeff Wadlow starring Lucy Hale as Olivia, Tyler Posey as Lucas and Violett Beane as Markie Cameron. It's about a seemingly harmless game of truth or dare that turns deadly when someone decides to punish those who tell a lie or refuse a dare. Midnight sun : 25 April 2018 Midnight sun is an american romantic drama directed by Scott Speer starring Bella Thorne as Katie Price and Patrick Schwarzenegger as Charlie. It is based on the Japanese flm of the same name. Katie has a life threatening sensitivity to sunlight so during the day, she is forced to stay at home with her dad as her only company. One night she ventures out of her house and is noticed by Charlie, who she has had a crush on for a long time. She does not know if she can live a normal life with him. Survey Here is a survey on cinema that allows us to know what adults and teenagers think about cinema, what they would like to change or improve in cinema but also what they do more often when they go to the cinema. We asked about 65 adults and 75 teenagers to do the survey. Question 1 : What’s your favorite moment to go to the cinema ? There are 60% of adults and 61% of teenagers who prefer to go to the cinema in the night. There are 35% of adults and and 39% of teenagers who go to the cinema in the afternoon. There are 91% of adults and 92% of teenagers who are satisfied with movie theater. There are 91% of adults and 95% of teenagers who think that the price of a cinema ticket is too expensive. There are 14% of adults and 34% of teenagers who do systematically buy food when they go to the cinema. There are 1% of adults and 8% of teenagers who want a dinner during the film. There are 8% of adults and 16% of teenagers who want movie private rooms to rent. There are 8% of adults and teenagers who want to watch a movie with smell-o-vision in the cinema. This new film will be better than the last one, more interesting and more captivating ! It will be less boring than the first he realised. - Genre : drama and romance - Director : Josh Boone - Writers : Josh Green and Rodrigo Corral - Actors : Shailene Woodley (Haze Grace), Ansel Elgort (Augustus Waters), Laura Dern (Mrs. Lancaster), Sam Trammell (Mr. Lancaster), - Set in : Amsterdam It’s the story of a girl, Hazel who has cancer and meets Augustus in an association for teenagers who have illness. She falls in love with him and they bond. Later, they are going to travel to Amsterdam together but soon, they are going to discover a terrible thing which will switch the story. Acting : The language of this movie is easy to understand if you are not English because the actors played well with emotions and gestures. Scene : All of the distressing scenes of this film make you feel and realise the reality of cancer. General : There is a splendid camera work and a beautiful soundtrack with great songs. The end : You will see but I think the end of this movie is so tragic and sad because there is a switch. General : In this film, at some point you can think it is a little long and uninteresting but it’s the only bad thing.
