For Immediate Release June 19, 2012 Virginia Latino Metal Masters SAINT DIABLO to Release Self-Titled Full-Length Album with Eclipse Records on July 10, 2012 Upcoming Tour Dates Kick-Off on June 22nd in Baltimore, MD – th Joining Up with SLAVES ON DOPE on July 24 Spawned from Central Virginia, SAINT DIABLO is an unmovable force to be reckoned with. Bringing with them a fresh and unique tone of hardcore metal and Latino melodies, the band is set stun heavy music fans with the release of their new album, entitled Saint Diablo, on July 10, 2012. The new record is the third full-length from the band and is being released through Eclipse Records (Mushroomhead, Scum of the Earth). Known as a live show powerhouse, the band is ready to push that power to the masses with their biggest record yet. “This new CD, Saint Diablo, is a combined effort of so many wonderful people. We have such an awesome group of investors, supporters, handlers, and producers behind the curtain that I see this CD as just the BEGINING of the future,” states vocalist Tito Quinones. “For example, we have always done bilingual music and blended multi-cultural aspects of rock, metal, and groove; but this time we are also doing entirely Spanish versions of some if our most favorite tunes. We did this to expand our musical horizons, make new fans in countries and cultures that would otherwise have language barriers, and to have fun.” Since 1995, the band has had eight independent releases. In 2003, the band released their debut album, which featured the Grammy-nominated artist Anousheh Khalili on ‘Why Now?’.

Sputtering to the end of the year, it just seems like this country is . exhausted. Between the election and the meltdown, we seem to be alternating between a euphoric optimism about the future and an unfolding concern over what’s w happening in the recent present. Well, I really can’t do much about what’s going on with the recent present, i.e. the economy. I’m spending as much change as I can find in the sofa, as fast as I can. And I can learn as much as I can about the mortgage bundling, derivatives, and credit default swaps that have apparently been the main cause of the bubble bust, but I can’t figure out what I personally could have done to stop these folks from such complex and risky ventures. I kept hearing it: As long as the money’s coming in, the risk is worth it. Yeah, I’ve heard that same logic espoused at the craps table in Vegas. How did it seem to make sense coming out of Alan Greenspan? He sure seemed to be an expert at the time . oh well. Powerless against the “unfolding concern,” I guess I have to turn towards the “euphoric optimism.” Oh yeah! I’m deeply thankful for a new national shift toward policy that benefits the working class.
