8 Future Development on EL-Derived Linux

• CentOS is our primary development platform. • pScheduler has been ported to CentOS 8. • Work is underway to bring Debian-derived Linux into equal standing.

9 Debian and Ubuntu Support

perfSONAR releases

● Fully supported ○ Debian 9 ○ Ubuntu 16 and 18 ● Only testpoint support ○ Debian 10 ○ Ubuntu 20 shortly

11 Will be discontinued shortly

● Debian 9 will be EOL in 2022 ● Ubuntu 16 will be EOL in 2024 ● But both will most probably not be supported for perfSONAR 5
